RED VELVET BUTTER CAKE

Hi Mom, this is a recipe for how to make a super delicious RED VELVET BUTTER CAKE for your child. let’s see how it’s made.

Material A

  • 10 egg yolks
  • 375 grams of Butter
  • 250 gr powdered sugar / flour sugar
  • 235 gr Medium Protein Flour
  • 15 gr cocoa powder
  • 25 gr powdered milk
  • 2 tbsp SKM
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Material B:

  • 5 Egg Whites
  • 1/2 tsp Cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Red paste / dye
  • 2 tsp wheat flour

How to make :

1. Beat / mixer sugar, butter + margarine at high speed until fluffy and pale white. About 5 minutes

2. Then lower the lowest speed and add the vanilla extract & SKM, mix briefly and then add the egg yolk

Beat until blended

3. Turn off the mixer, add flour, cocoa powder & sifted powdered milk gradually into the butter mixture. Beat until blended (don’t over mix)

4. Beat Material B egg whites until chewy

5. Gradually add the egg white into the mixture of ingredients A, stirring until blended

6. Add red coloring and 2 teaspoons flour and stir

7. Grease the pan with butter, spread it lightly with a brush not to appear to settle

8. Pour the mixture into the pan, beat several times

9. Bake at 170 for 15 minutes then lower it to 150 for 40 minutes / until done. From beginning to end fire up and down

Cream Cheese Glaze

Material :

200 gr Cream Cheese (room temperature)

100 gr powdered sugar (taste)

2 tablespoons of liquid whipcream

2 tablespoons Butter (room temperature)

3-4 tablespoons plain UHT milk (don’t pour it all)

1 tablespoon of lemon juice * Beat using a mixer, powdered sugar + cream cheese until the sugar is completely dissolved & creamy does not crunch, add butter, beat again. Then pour the liquid whipcream and liquid milk. Beat until well blended.

Finally, add the lemon juice, beat again until it is completely blended, creamy & not too thick (you can add more liquid milk if it is still thick)
